Use Cases

Consistent feel across multiple games
Convert your sensitivity when switching between FPS titles so mouse handling stays consistent and you spend less time adjusting.
Recalibrating after a new mouse
After moving to a mouse with a different DPI, enter the new DPI to work out the in-game sensitivity that restores your original feel.
Copying a professional player's setup
Take a pro player's DPI and sensitivity and convert it to the sensitivity that gives you the same eDPI on your own mouse.
Getting up to speed in a new game
Convert the sensitivity from a game you know well into a new FPS title and skip the long adjustment period.

FAQ

What is eDPI?
Effective DPI equals mouse DPI multiplied by in-game sensitivity. It is the common yardstick for comparing mouse feel across games, and matching eDPI means the handling is essentially the same.
The conversion still does not feel right. Why?
Games differ in field-of-view multipliers and aim-down-sights coefficients, and this tool converts based on the hipfire state. If scoped aiming feels off, adjust the ADS sensitivity multiplier separately.
How do I find my mouse DPI?
Check your mouse driver software or the official specification page for your model. Many gaming mice also have a physical DPI switch, usually with an indicator light showing the current step.
What eDPI do professional players use?
Most professional FPS players sit between 200 and 1000 eDPI. Low values of 200 to 400 favor precise aiming, while 600 and above favor fast turns.
