  2. The "Preview" tab on the right renders the resulting HTML live as you type
  3. Switch to the "Source" tab to inspect the generated raw HTML code
  4. Click "Copy" to copy the HTML source so you can paste it into a web page or a rich text editor

  • Converts #, ## and ### into h1, h2 and h3 heading tags
  • Converts **text** into bold (strong) and *text* into italic (em)
  • Handles line breaks automatically: a single newline becomes <br> and a blank line between paragraphs becomes <br><br>
  • Converts as you type, with no button to press
  • Offers both a "Preview" and a "Source" view, and copies the generated HTML with one click

FAQ

Which Markdown syntax is supported?
Headings level one to three (#, ## and ###), bold (**text**), italic (*text*) and line break or paragraph handling. Lists, links, images, code blocks and tables are not supported yet.
Why was my list or link not converted?
This is a lightweight converter that only handles headings, bold, italic and line breaks. Lists, hyperlinks, images and code blocks are not supported yet and are kept as plain text.
What is the difference between the Preview and Source tabs?
Preview shows the rendered result, so bold text actually appears bold. Source shows the generated raw HTML markup as text, which is what you copy when you want to reuse it elsewhere.
Is my content uploaded during conversion?
No. The conversion runs entirely in your browser and no data is sent to a server.
