Use Cases

Business cards and print
Encode your website or contact details on a card so people can pull them up with a scan instead of retyping.
Product packaging and traceability
Point a code on the packaging at a product page where buyers can check origin, ingredients, and inspection reports.
Event promotion
Put a code linking to your signup page on posters and flyers so people can register straight from the printed material.
Restaurant menus
Place a code for your online menu on each table so guests can browse on their phone and you print fewer paper menus.

FAQ

How much data can a QR code hold?
A QR code holds roughly 7,089 numeric characters or 4,296 alphanumeric characters. Shorter content produces a sparser code that scans faster, so keeping URLs under about 100 characters works best.
Can I change the colors without breaking the scan?
Yes, as long as there is strong contrast between the dark foreground and the light background. Avoid similar shades, and do not invert the code with a light foreground on a dark background.
Can I put a logo in the middle?
Not in this tool. Download the PNG and overlay a logo in an image editor instead. Covering up to about 30 percent of the center usually still scans reliably.
Do the codes expire?
Codes made here never expire. They keep working as long as the encoded content stays valid, so if the URL you encoded is redirected or taken down, scanning will no longer reach the destination.
