How to Use

No. The tool estimates using a built-in reference price table — it doesn't call AWS/Alibaba Cloud/Tencent Cloud's official pricing APIs. Real prices vary by region, promotions, and account discounts; treat the tool's output as an order-of-magnitude reference and check each provider's official calculator for the actual quote.
How is the monthly cost derived from the hourly rate?
The tool uniformly converts on-demand hourly compute cost to a monthly figure using 730 hours/month (roughly 365 days × 24 hours ÷ 12 months), a common convention for cloud cost estimation.
Why can't I choose HDD for the data disk separately?
In the current calculation logic, the data disk is always priced as SSD — only the system disk supports switching between SSD/HDD. This is noted in the page's disclaimer. If your real data disk is HDD, the estimate will run high, so adjust accordingly.
How are the reserved-instance and annual-monthly discounts calculated?
