FAQ
Are the rates real-time?
No. Rates are built-in reference values based on publicly published platform policies; the latest policies always apply.
Why is the Amazon commission 15% by default?
The tool uses 15% as a default category rate; actual Amazon commissions range from 8% to 15% by category, as noted on the page.
Why does Temu show no fees?
Temu operates on a supply-price model with no commission or payment fees for sellers; net income is price minus cost, a different basis from retail marketplaces.
Does the Shopify figure include the monthly plan fee?
No. The calculation covers the 2.9% + $0.30 transaction fee; the monthly subscription is separate.
