  3. Results update live: delivered count, health score and grade.
  4. The key metrics table compares each rate with the industry benchmark and marks the status.
  5. Read the suggestions to find weak points (list hygiene, subject lines, CTA design and more).

Features

  • Computes six metrics: delivery, open, click, unsubscribe and complaint rates plus CTR (click-to-open).
  • Built-in benchmarks for five industries (e-commerce, SaaS, media, B2B, education) with automatic comparison.
  • Every metric gets a status: above/within/below benchmark for range metrics, and ok/warning/critical thresholds for unsubscribe and complaint rates.
  • Composite health score (0-100) with a grade from excellent to critical for an at-a-glance verdict.
  • Automatic improvement suggestions driven by the weakest metrics (list hygiene, subject line A/B tests, CTA optimization, sending frequency).
  • Input clamping keeps numbers sane: bounces capped at sent, clicks capped at opens, and so on.

FAQ

What is the denominator for each rate?
Delivery rate uses total sent; open, click, unsubscribe and complaint rates use delivered (sent minus bounced); CTR uses opens.
Where do the benchmarks come from?
Built-in typical industry ranges (e.g. e-commerce open rate 15-25%, unsubscribe below 0.5%) for reference only.
How is the health score computed?
Starting from 50, points are added or kept per metric relative to the benchmark, capped at 100, with grades from excellent to critical.
What should I enter as complaints?
The number of recipients who marked the email as spam, usually far lower than unsubscribes.
What if I enter inconsistent numbers?
Values are clamped to sensible ranges (e.g. clicks above opens are treated as opens); enter real data for accurate results.
