How to Use

  1. Choose an input mode: paste text to auto-estimate token counts, or switch to the token mode and enter input and output token counts directly.
  2. Set the daily call count (default 100) to match your expected workload.
  3. Click 'Calculate Cost'. The tool computes costs for 20 mainstream models (OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, DeepSeek, Alibaba, Mistral and more) using built-in reference prices.
  4. Review the cost ranking: cost per call (USD), daily cost (USD) and monthly cost (CNY). The 3 cheapest models are highlighted in green.
  5. Click 'Load Sample Data' for a quick demo, or edit any input and results update in real time.

FAQ

Is the pricing data up to date?
No. The tool ships with 2024-2025 public reference prices and they may change; a note on the page reminds you to check official pricing. Results are estimates only.
Is the token count from pasted text exact?
No, it is an estimate: about 1.5 characters per token for Chinese and 4 characters per token for English. Real counts depend on the tokenizer used.
How are daily and monthly costs calculated?
Monthly cost assumes 30 days; the CNY conversion uses a reference rate of 1 USD = 7.2 CNY.
How is output tokens determined in text mode?
In text mode, output tokens are estimated as 60 percent of input tokens (a typical input/output ratio). Switch to token mode to set both numbers manually.
Can I add custom models or prices?
Not currently. The comparison covers the 20 built-in models only.
