How to Use
- Enter your height (100-250cm) and choose a posture: sitting, standing or hybrid (sit-stand alternating).
- Click Calculate (or use the 155/170/185 quick presets). Recommendations are derived from ergonomic standards.
- Result cards show a recommended value, an acceptable range and a description for each parameter: seat height, armrest height, desk/keyboard height, monitor center and top height, and viewing distance.
- Eight ergonomic tips follow, such as taking regular breaks and avoiding glare on the monitor.
Note: results are standard-based recommendations; individual differences may require adjustments, and you should consult a professional if you experience discomfort.
Features
- Height-based calculation: seat, desk and monitor parameters are derived from your height (e.g. seat height around 25% of height).
- Three working postures: sitting, standing and hybrid each get appropriate desk height advice.
- Recommended value plus range for every parameter, handy while adjusting real furniture.
- Monitor guidance: center height, top height and viewing distance (50-70cm) at a glance.
- Eight practical tips covering break frequency, glare prevention and sit-stand rotation.

FAQ
What is the calculation based on?
Common ratio formulas from ergonomic standards such as ANSI/BIFMA - seat height around 25% of height, desk height 25-28%, monitor center around 60%.
What is the difference between the three postures?
Sitting gives seat, armrest, desk and monitor parameters; standing gives work-surface and monitor parameters; hybrid provides both sitting and standing values.
Why is the monitor distance a fixed range?
An arm's length (50-70cm) is a general recommendation that does not scale with height; larger screens should be farther away.
What if my height is outside the range?
Inputs are clamped to 100-250cm and calculated at the boundary value.
Are these values right for everyone?
No. They are based on population standards; individual body proportions vary, so comfort comes first and persistent discomfort warrants professional advice.
